Circles out of square blocks
Minecraft is built from cubes, so a “circle” is really the best block approximation of one. This generator plots that pattern for any width and height, so you can copy it row by row into towers, domes, silos and round rooms.
Choosing a style
- Outline (thin) — a single-block ring, ideal for walls
- Outline (thick) — a chunkier ring that reads better at small sizes
- Filled — the whole disc, for floors and platforms
Set different width and height values to make ellipses. The block count updates live, so you know exactly how much material to gather.
FAQ
Do odd or even diameters look better?
Odd diameters have a single centre block and tend to look the most symmetrical; even diameters share the centre across four blocks. Try both and pick whichever reads as rounder at your scale.
